During the course of writing and recording previous albums, I would find myself with surplus material; the occasional tune or riff I didn’t know what to do with. Develop them into songs? Or just discard them? I did neither…

Instead, for this (my 8th solo album) I turned them into short instrumentals. These are not so much ‘paintings’ as they are ‘sketches’ – so having a massive 50 tracks to listen to on a single album is not as daunting as it at first seems, as most of these tunes are not much more than a minute long (some are even as short as 15 seconds!)

Despite the slightly unorthodox method behind the creation of this album, it remains one of my more popular ones and is probably one of my personal favourites!

So, here is the culmination of over 6 years of outtakes and ideas formed into atmospheric and catchy little instrumentals for your auditory pleasure…

I've also included the album artwork (which should automatically download with the album).
